Cornerstone Community Groups

At Cornerstone we want to live out our faith in Christ-centered gospel community where believers will mature in their faith and unbelievers will be engaged with the gospel. To do this we are committed to planting small groups in Wylie and the surrounding area allowing us to flourish where God has placed us and to minister to unbelievers and unchurched peoples in our community.

Community Groups are made up of men and women from all generations. They meet regularly in homes for fellowship, prayer, accountability, worship and to study God’s Word.

Cornerstone Students (SDG)

At Cornerstone we desire that our students understand that they are part of the body of Christ now. It has been said that our youth are the future of the church and of course this is true, but if our students are believers in Christ then they are part of the body of Christ right now. The Bible teaches that parents have the primary responsibility to disciple their children but we want to come alongside parents and help them in this task. As a church we want to invest in our students teaching them the core truths of the faith. We want to help them connect with other believers so that they can build deep gospel friendships. And we want to equip them for a lifetime of gospel ministry.

On Sunday mornings we have group bible study classes for our students and we have also put together a Community Group for students in 7th thru 12th grade. This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month and they meet in the homes of various members.

Cornerstone Kids

At Cornerstone, we believe that all children are a gift from God and we want to see them grow to put their faith in Christ and become a disciple-making disciple of Jesus. So whether your child is in the nursery or in senior high we want to teach the gospel and the Word of God to them and help them grow in what it means to be a follower of Christ. We do this through our Sunday morning Bible study classes that are age-graded and meet at 10 am. We use The Gospel Project, which is an in-depth but age appropriate curriculum that walks through the entire bible over a three-year span. We also want to foster a corporate worship environment where kids are welcome to worship and learn alongside their parents.
