Jerry and Margie Hargrave

Atoyac De Alvarez, Guerrero, Mexico

Jerry and Margie Hargrave have been working with missions in Mexico since 1992. They lived in Atoyac De Alvarez in the state of Guerrero. Jerry was the director or a seminary there several years and was pastor of the Betel Evangelical Church for three years.

Jerry and Margie have traveled extensively in Mexico, serving Pastors across the southern part of the country. Jerry taught discipleship to pastors and laymen alike and provided assisance and support to pastors where and whenever possible.

Now semi-retired, they still work in three areas of Mexico. They give support to Pastor Panfilo, an Amuzgo pastor in Huixtipec, in the mountains bordering the states of Guerrero and Oaxaca and Pastor Ramiro Vaquez who serves as pastor of an evangelical church in the little village of Buena Vista on the Mayan Coast. For many years, the Hargraves have been involved in work in the state of Chiapas. Recently, they have joined forces with Lance and Sara Keeling, new missionaries from Cornerstone Baptist Church, who are working in Teopisca, near San Cristobal de las Casas in the state of Chiapas.
